[Typo3] Typo 3.8 and newloginbox

I found the solution to my problem... but this means that there is another 
problem;

when  someone creates a user through de fe-useradmin, he can't add himself 
to a usergroup,
which is needed for the login to work
this means that the admin must always assign him to a group??
is there a way that a new user automatically assigns himself to a group?

if anyone understands what I mean
