[Typo3] tt_news bug?

Just installed new tt_news from depository, ver: 2.2.24, on typo3 ver 
3.8. When i try to add News category i have this error:

"Unknown column 'tt_news_cat.starttime' in 'field list' This may 
indicate a table defined in tables.php is not existing in the database!"

if i try to save new category this erro appears:
"2: SQL error: 'Unknown column 'starttime' in 'field list'' 
(tt_news_cat:NEW43312aa253fbc)"

The second error is a logical effest of the first error,
What should i do to repair tt_news?
