[Typo3] How to configure two tt_news in a website?

Don't think to complicated ;)
You can setup those things insite the extension-content-element you put 
into each page (like e.g. starting point). Then just arrange your site 
like this:

- news
   - archive
   - single view
   - tt_news folder
...
- events
   - archive
   - single view
   - tt_news folder
