[Typo3] No BR please

Hi List,
Sorry, this is a dumb question, but I honestly cant find the answer...
I have been trying for a very very long time to remove the BR tag.
I have no idea why there is a BR inserted after an H1 element...this is 
driving me nuts!
As a last resort I used negative margins for all H elements...but this 
is silly!
Please help.
BTW..what happened to the mail archive on typo3.org?
