[Typo3] eu_ldap and scope

Hello,
 
I am trying to find a way to limit the scope of the LDAP import for the
eu_ldap extension.  Currently there is an LDAP directory that contains
all staff, but there is a subdirectory for special accounts that I want
to exclude.  The categories and object types are the same, so I can't
seem to filter out that way.  We are using Windows 2003 server and Typo3
3.8.0, with Novell's LDAP service.
