[Typo3] Sg_glossary and slow parsing times

Hi all,

This neat and simple extension is quite slow, parsing times are 5000-8000ms. It is slower than other extensions and one reason is that it doesn´t cache. I have tried to put caching on on my template but nothing seem to be working. It is GETting this no_cache -variable whatever I do... 
Do I have to go and try to figure this out from code? Or is this extension built so that no_cache is necessary?
