Hi Chi. thanks for your reply, but unfortunatly it didn't help. :(

My ext_localconf.php DO include that line you mentioned. And the problem is 
not the indexing (which do work from what I can see in the BE) but searching 
on the frondend, which always gives ZERO RESULTS.
