Footer might be in hard coded in the template file. One posibility is 
that your template is somewhere in the fileadmin folder of the 
installation. Another posibility is that it is a content element in 
which case you should be able to find it by logging into the backend and 
searching the page tree. You login to the backend usually by going to 
the www.domain.ext/typo3.
