[Typo3] user cannot see his filemount?

Could you tell me how did you defined filemount points and where are the 
folders in the folder structure? (under fileadmin?)

Meanwhile you can try this:

1) Create directory user1 in fileadmin directory

2) Create new filemount and set:

    PATH:
    user1/

    BASE:
    set to relative


this should work
