[Typo3] html template corruption

Hi, 
Here is a very strange problem. 

I have an html template which I've checked through a thousand times for
missing tags and there are none but when Typo3 renders the page using the
template, suddenly I'm missing a closing </div> tag.  It is definately there
in the file.

Has anyone else had this problem?
