[Typo3] Dev Extension: Db Question for add value inside my extension table

HI,

I have an extension for cd record

My Question is:
When I create an record in BE, I want to put automaticly a value inside a field for the extension table

My table is wmf
field is code
and I want to put $this->cObj->data['select_key'] inside field code when the be user create a cd record

Any idea?
