Hey Rahul,

After reading your mail (not Dimitris babble) I realized that the infamous
moral clause has an unwanted effect for those who I share a belief in
higher beings and purpose with.

Although incompatibility exists between religions they have in common that
they recognize a higher purpose with life than mere atheism. I think this
honors the human mind and in the case of most religions is broadly
compatible with the moral teachings of Jesus.

I have therefore modified the "clause" to sound like this:

"But as the original author of TYPO3 I will express my personal wish here;
that TYPO3 is not used to spread material that is against the moral
teaching of the Bible and the human rights. Especially I would be sad to
see TYPO3 being used for pornographic material which in my eyes is the
greatest plague of the Internet and definitely one of the last things I
wanted to support with my work."

I think this covers more precisely my attitude to the issue and hopefully is
less offending to those of other beliefs.

In respect,

 - kasper
