Yes, but we don't necessarily have to favor relativism, do we? I don't have 
a problem with a community, who expresses ethical standards. And there are 
standards every rational thinking human being should agree on. Religion, on 
the other hand, is a mixture of highly subjective beliefs. And that can 
never be a common ground.

Again, that's why I said that ethical wishes should never be tied to values 
motivated by some religion. But I don't have a problem with a _community_ 
agreeing on ethical wishes, as long as they can be argumented by rationality.
