Hi, I just got smile_workflow working successfully with Templavoila.
Actually smile_workflow nearly works out of the box with TV but the content editor in TV does not respect the workflow permission settings. I've
written an extension which fixes this and also some other bugs with the
email notification in the smile_workflow extension.

Assuming there in interest on this I'll write up a wiki on how to setup versioning, workflow (with email alerts for the workflow groups) with templavoila with the patches.
