[Typo3] General Question

Hi,

Curious. I do occasional Web Design work but use GoLive or Dreamweaver
to do that work. I heard about Typo3 and went ahead and installed it on
my Windows machine (I also have LINUX Ubuntu). It seems to be working
but it is a little difficult to tell if I can use it for Web Design Work
instead of say Golive. I understand that Typo3 is a Content Management
System and not necessarily a Web Design program but it looks to be
rather powerful.

One of the applications that I have is for rental properties and resorts
in Cabo San Lucas. I'd like to modify my site so that the properties
are stores in a database that is searchable so that properties with
certain features can be displayed selectively. All of the prosperities
would have the same template with a number of pictures, a title, a
description, and perhaps other fields.

Can Typo3 do this. If so, where should I start if I want to learn how.

Thank you.

Stephen S.
