I really think Michelle is missing the point. The current US T3 marketing
efforts are not working. I am constantly reading articles about Drupal and
Mambo, yet never see any mention of TYPO3. Why is this? TYPO3 is just as
capable if not better. We need to be represented in enterprise publications
such as eweek, kmworld, CIO, baseline, econtent, etc. Not PRweb, cmsmatrix,
newsforge. Why preach to the converted, we need to start converting.

How can Michelle dis-agree with merging US and Canada's TYPO3 marketing
efforts. Of the 100 or so TYPO3 website we've done, roughly 10% of them have
been in Canada. Canada has a population of 30 million (the same as the New
Your City region), the US has a population of 250+ million. Canada just
doesn't have the population to support a dedicated TYPO3 effort. As for the
Canadian market being vastly different, I really don't see it. The only
difference I see is that the Canadian dollar is 20% less then the US, and
this is a good thing.

If Michelle is no longer interested in being involved in the US marketing
effects, I would gladly take over. Zach Davis at Cast iron as well as
Gregory Remington of mediatech.net have said they are interested in getting
involved.

My first step would be to setup a US advisory board which would meet at
minimum once a month (skype) and at least once a year face to face, my vote
is Las Vegas for the first face to face. This board should be made up of
developers, consultancies, and clients (big or small).

I agree completely with Michelle's statement, we need more action. I think
it's time for a change.
