[Typo3] ext: gsi_pagenav

I have a site using gsi_pagenav. Rather than the "next" link bringing 
you to the next menu item in the tree I would like to traverse the 
subdirectories in the branch?

For instance:

Features
   --Display
   --Classified
Background

Currently the next link will be bring you to "Background". For the sake 
of the site it would be better if it went to "Display"


Does anyone have any ideas of how to configure gsi_pagenav (or maybe an 
alternative) to do this.
