[Typo3] meta tag in typoscript

Extension Template - Whilst the 'thank you' page is highlighted in admin
interface, I did;

Template>Click here to create an extension template.

I then entered the typoscript I mentioned.

There is stuff on the page if I comment out the typoscript...
