[Typo3] tx_srfeuserregister & explorer

HI,
I have the following problem with tx_srfeuserregister:
It is configured to use FE User Registration CSS-styled and it works 
flawlessly with Firefox but the form won't send in IE.
It just cycles from "Create account" to "Create account now!" then back 
to the initial registration form.
The extention works fine in both browsers when using the old CSS-styles
I need to use FE User Registration CSS-styled  because of the admin 
review feature.
I have checked that all the required extentions are up to date
IE is up date, javascript on and cookies too.
There was no info about this problem in any old threads (that I could 
find) and I am truly stumped!
