[Typo3] Long time no see & TYPO381

Hi all,

After 2 years away I'm back...for a while at least!

I thought I'd catch up with latest developments and install the latest 
version...but...I cannot make a BE login with any of the 3.8.1 packages.

I've installed in exactly the same way as always (on my server I'm still 
using php412, with apache 2x and mysql 4x).

After creating a BE user in the install tool, at the BE login I just 
keep getting the message...

"Your login attempt did not succeed. Make sure to spell your username 
and password correctly, including upper/lowercase characters."

To make sure it isn't me, I installed a fresh copy of dummy-3.7.0...it 
installed no prob and I can login to the BE.

Has anyone else had similiar issues with 3.8.x and BE logins?
