Hello Ivars,

during last days there have been some confusing reports about the right 
configuration for utf-8. I am interested which one does work.

Please report your versions and configuration settings on side of the DB 
and on side of TYPO3. Please test some russian and chinese input. 
(http://www.gov.ru, http://www.gov.cn/).

Does everything work?

How does the DB look like in phpMyAdmin?
