[Typo3] a question about the news?(how can i let a news title link to a document?)

Hallo all
     The mininews is a very basic extension,but now i have a question 
about the mininews, my question is if i already have a pdf or word 
document,how can i modify the mininews so that when i click a news title 
,i will open the document but not display the news,because the document 
is the news.
