[Typo3] Timtaw and BE permissions question: pages table

Hi list,

I've noticed something odd in the permissions of a BE usergroup I've
created; the group is able to do tasks such as adding and moving pages
_in the BE_, but the FE user who is a member of the same group cannot
move or add pages.

This remains true regardless of how much access the group has to the
pages in question. For example, if the group _owns_ the a page that
they need to move
_and_ its parent, _and_ has access to every single field in the pages
table, the user still gets referred to the 'Login-error or session
timed-out' page.

Can any Timtaw experts out there advise?
