[Typo3] Unable to preview pages

Hi everyone,

This post relates to my previous post, but I believe
it is caused by something different, so I'm renaming
it.

My problem is: If I want to preview a page, I can only
do so if the page is tied to a domain. Otherwise, it
simply won't preview at all (the page goes blank, and
the source code isn't even generated). I know that
this is not normal, because if it were, nobody would
be able to create development sites. Further, I've
used Typo3 on another server and this did not happen.

I'm wondering if anybody else has had this happen, or
if they could help.
