[Typo3] Typo3 Admin Headed to Deutschland/Benelux on Holiday

Hello Typo3 Family,

I really enjoy using typo3, and I look forward to 4.0. I am an American
university student spending a year teaching English in Moscow. I am planning
to travel to Germany, Benelux, and Switzerland during my month holiday from
18 December to 14 January. I dont have any friends in the area, or
travelling companions, so I decided to tap into the European T3 comminity
for ideas.

I haven't decided on any particular route of travel yet, probably joust
going around to various areas of interest. Where are some good places to go
for Christmas? Any particular places I should see? Also, it would be
interesting to meet some new people, and make some friends that can help me
with the language, and also compare notes on programming--this would be good
too. Some places, besides hostels, to stay at for a bit would be kind of
nice too. :)
