[Typo3] direct mail fetch and compile URL missing top level domain

Thanks for the tip Sandip. I found out some good information that I  
put in my last email about my problem using simple printf statements  
in the php file. I'll give error_log() a try next time.

There have been a few Direct Mail threads on the list this past week  
that were about more advanced problems, so, I'm assuming this must be  
working for most people and I have a configuration problem as opposed  
to a bug in the source. However, a solution to my problem that does  
not require source modification still eludes me.
