class & id thing - hm, good question ;) it just happened ;)

encodings - believe me or not - i'm not using any specific language, or 
sth in the template. i admit - my hard-coded encoding is iso-8859-2, but 
  template is clean - just pure html, without any texts, that might use 
this encoding. even my name was spelled as it is - "piotr bartkowiak" ;)
other templates work without any problems with this encoding, my native 
language requires it, so i use it - and as i say, it worked until now ;)
