[Typo3] TCAdefaults.tt_content.imageorient doesn't work in User TS

Hi again...

has nobody ever tried to set a default value for imageorient for a 
certain user / usergroup?

I'm tryin it like this but it has no effect...

TCAdefaults.tt_content {
      imageorient = 17
}
