[Typo3] Structure advice

Hi,

I just need an advice on strucure.

I have a horizontal top menu on the site, and a left vertical menu. The
left vertical menu is divided into sub-categories.

Is the following structure sound?

Root
     Top menu (hidden sysadmin folder)
         Top menu page 1
         Top menu page 2
         ...
     Left menu (hidden sysadmin folder)
         Headline 1 (hidden spacer)
             Left menu page 1
             Left menu page 2
         Headline 2 (hidden spacer)
             Left menu page 3
             ...

Is the choice of sysadmin folder and spacers correct/optimal?
Should they be hidden?
Would it cause menu (HMENU, TMENU) related problems?

I want the tree structure in the TYPO3 backend to best possible reflect 
the site/menu layout.

Any comments are welcome.
