[Typo3] is typo3 suitable for a site like playboy?

Hi list,

I've implemented typo3 before with succes for another company. But now i 
would like to know if Typo3 can handle large amounts of traffic (visitors 
and data) for a site like the dutch playboy?

This site will of coarse contain a lot of movies and photos. This in 
combination with a large amout of users, will typo3 still be fast enough?
