[Typo3] all images in FE are set back to their original size, ignoring the width values

Hi, for some reason all inserted images in the CE's are set to their 
original sizes. The picture properties in the BE content elemenets of a 
fixed width (150px) are ignored. This now my site looks completely alfull. 
This happend after restart of server, but no changes have been made in the 
BE within weeks. Any ideas what could be the reason behind this, and how i 
can restore it back to how it was. Is this imagemagick related? (allthough i 
have change anything with that) thx
