I have uploaded a fixed version of mbl_newsevent. :-)

(Also: Maybe time soon for a feature upgrade of mbl_newsevent, so  
mail feature requests to me, and I'll see if I'll implement them.  
There's also some known problems which I have no idea how to fix at:
