[Typo3] Current (ACT) page not linked in TMenu?

In a TMenu, is it possible to display the current page (ACT) as plain 
text and not as a link (or in other words: to have it not wrapped in <a 
href...></a>)?

What I would like to accomplish is a navigation menu where it is not 
possible to select the current page, because that's not needed in most 
cases and only confuses users.

(in GMenu, there's a "noLink" property available, I guess, I'm looking 
for something similar for TMenu)
