[Typo3] integration with phpbb?

Will it ever be possible to integrate typo3 with phpbb?  For example, 
like tt_news.  People can comeinto the site, read the news and comment 
on it.  WHen they comment, thier post will be made in the site and in 
the forums.  Every tt_news article that is posted will go into a 
designated forum in phpbb.

To tell you the truth, I dont see much use in chcforums... it is not 
keeping up with the big forum softwares out now.

Mambo does a great job in integrating with forum softwares.  I think 
typo3 should follow that.
