[Typo3] How to invoke Direct Mail Engine remotely

This is beyond me right now. Please help.

The cron script supplied with the Direct Mail Module is perfect if 
you have access to crontab, but some hosts limit cron to one job 
per day. What are the options in this case? Is it possible to 
access a php script from the Internet on a scheduled basis? What 
script? Perhaps a Perl or PHP script could be setup on a timed 
basis to launch the dmailer.phpcron without using cron? How should 
one send batches of mail without access to crontab on the host?
