[Typo3] My site is all messed up!

This isn't really a Typo3 problem you know...

All Typo3 does is output html, so your problem MUST lie in the source code
of your page. As it happens, you only have to search ONE line into the
source code to discover a difference. Combine that with the regrettable bit
of knowledge that IE is a horrible basket-case of css-rendering bugs, and
you know both a) where the problem is in the source code, and b) which
browser is the likely cause of the bug.

A Google search (cleverly worded: IE + css + bug + "xml declaration")
provides numerous answers to the question:

At this point, you might reasonably wonder how to change this problem in
Typo3. The answer? Check the TSREF section on 'config'.
