Because all our server infrastructure runs on Windows Server, and we already
have an Intranet running under IIS, and we know how to support this
environment, and it works well.

Production.

IIS.
It is very integrated with Windows (security, authentication, and so on).
It runs very well.

I recommend it very much. It would be even easier if Typo3 were more
supportive. Some of its error messages, user interface and documentation are
more Linux-oriented. Specially, there are some security (permission)
configuration that must be done on Windows that can be overlooked. For
instance write permission on Typo3 temporary directory.
