[Typo3] new login box and the need to login twice...

Hey List,

I am a little clueless on this on and need some tips or directions...

On my live server all FE users need to login 'twice'
The first time it trows up a login error that eather the username or 
password was incorrect.
The second time the login success as normal (inclusinf the page where 
they did come from...).

On my development server this isn't the case, login succeeds the first 
time flawlessley.

What could be the case???
