[Typo3] relPathPrefix not working?

I had the same problem some days ago and I found out that for
relPathPrefix there must be a path given otherwise relPathPrefix.IMG
doesn´t work and I assume relPathPrefix.A also won´t work. I didn´t need
some separate path for the images, just one for the a tag so I solved it
this way:

relPathPrefix = /fileadmin/css/
relPathPrefix.A =

But with a path for relPathPrefix a separate one for relPathPrefix.IMG
also worked correctly.
