Hello list,

Some time ago (when we did not use typo3 for our sites) a helpdesk
system has been created using php/mysql. Now that we have made the
switch to typo3, the original module would need much modification to
be usable in typo3. Searching through the extensions i found the
mg_helpdesk module, which seems like something that i would want to
use.

The script that was originally written uses categories to which
questions are assigned. For each category a listview is available,
spanning over multiple pages when there is a large amount of
questions. Submitted questions are found in a backend module on which
there is a page that shows the latest entries. Those entries can be
deleted or answered. Ofcourse those options are still available for
all the other entries that have been submitted so that they can be
updated or deleted when a similair question/answer is already
available. Categories can be added in the BE too.

I'm looking for live examples of this module, but i have found nothing
yet. I'm going to install and try it anyway, but any experience and/or
examples would be quite helpfull to see if this module is something
i'm looking for or not.

Greets,
Wietse van Bruggen
