[Typo3] Indexed Search Problem in Arabic

We have run into a snag with our indexed search in Arabic. When we enter 
search text in English in the search box we get results showing in Arabic. 
When we enter search text in Arabic in the search box we get no results.

Did we miss something? Did anybody else have the same problem? Does anybody 
have it working in Arabic?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
