[Typo3] Keywords and description per language and page

I am using two plugins in a one-tree multilanguage site:

Meta Tags Extended and
Extended Keywords.

If I setup the keywords and description in Meta Tags Extended in Typoscript 
Object Browser I have them universally for the whole site.

However, If I add page-specific keywords for some page they are not included 
in the output.

Adding

page.meta.KEYWORDS.field = keywords

produces no result whatsoever.

What am I doing wrong?

I would like to set specific description and keywords per page, even per 
language if possible.

How is it done?
