[Typo3] Testing Typo3 on an existing site

Add this line to your root .htaccess file

#Set the default page order
DirectoryIndex flash.php index.html index.php index.htm default.htm default.html error.php 

If you are new to .htaccess files be aware not all gui ftp applications will show them so you may need to use a manual get to retrieve an exisiting .htaccess file for editing. If you are certain you do not already have one then upload a plain text file called .htaccess with this DirectoryIndex line in and it will work.

If you are still unsure, search google for .htaccess tutorials
