[Typo3] TV restrictions

Hi,

I guess I once read a note, about the option to restrict the possible
elements in TemplaVoila content areas. For example if one has six flexible
content elements available and two content areas in the page template, I
want to restrict the elements, so that four of them can only be used in the
content area #1 and the other two only in area #2.

Is this possible without building a giant template with element containers
in element containers?
