Guess I assumed he already was. Even when using the css-styled content 
extension clear.gif is still used isn't it? And when the extension is 
used the style class ".spacer-gif" is automatically applied which means 
that all the clear.gif images are styled as such. At this point we might 
just be confusing the issue.

So Rolf, if you need to learn about cascading style sheets there are 
many online resources available for doing so. If you need to learn about 
style sheets and Typo3 look at the modern template building documents. 
They are very useful.
