[Typo3] Home Page - Clean URL & Menu Item

click on your WebsiteName icon in the pagetree, edit page header, and  
change the style from page or whatever it is to shortcut. Then make sure  
you add the Home page to the 'Shortcut to page' list by clicking the  
'open' -looking icon next to it and then picking 'home' from the page tree  
that should pop up. Save, exit, and watch it work :)
