[Typo3] Linktarget for links in tt_content

Hello list!

This seems like another simple question but I could not find an 
adequate answer in the archive or google so I hope you guys (and girls 
ofcourse) can help me out.

We're using tt_content to fill in a lot of our content. We're using our 
own templates and such for the output and this all goes fine now.
The only thing is that I can't find where in the admin a linktarget can 
be defined. We use the header_link column in tt_content for putting in 
links but this does not provide a target and seems to assume that all 
links are internal. This is however not the case since they can be both 
internal as external.

Does anyone know how a linktarget can be provided? (or maybe I'm 
missing something very obvious)
