[Typo3] Why does TYPO3 kick out backend users?

The time out for this pop-up us usually around 15-30 mins or something by 
default; however I get kicked out after just a few mins.
I have also tried to edit the index.php file and completely disable this 
time-out. It works on other machines, but when using my laptop I still get 
kicked out after just a few mins.
