[Typo3] tt_news not XHTML 1.0 transitional compliant

Dear typo3 folks,

I'm trying to make my typo3 site XHTML 1.0 trans. Compliant, but the code
generated by tt_news makes it very hard, because tt_news generates
alt="xxxx" text for all <a>-elements. According to XHTML 1.0 trans. This is
not allowed.

Tt_news latest version

Any ideas how to make tt_news xhtml 1.0 trans. Compliant?
