[Typo3] Photobook extension not displaying anything

In - maybe important - information still missing:
Which kind of images did you upload?
Maybe your IM setup is not able to handle the file type.
As far as I can see, the path should be no problem, since there are links
created for the thumbnails, containing empty image tags.
This means, photobook recognizes the files in the folder but is not able to
produce the thumbnails correctly.
If IM is producing images in your install tool and not in photobook there
should be something wrong with these images.
